1) Can you tell us a little about your wedding celebrant services? How did you get started in the wedding industry?
My career is in training and face to face contact with people. I love speaking to people and organising and thought what a lovely way to incorporate the two things I love.
2) From your experience, what type of couples search for your services? Who is your ideal/typical client?
I don’t really have a ‘typical’ client. My couples range in age and personality and I get to know each couple well before the ceremony so it seems like I am performing a ceremony for family each and every ceremony.
3) How many weddings have you done? How many do you do a year?
I have now performed nearly 100 ceremonies and on average I perform 30 or so a year.
4) What do you do best and enjoy most about being a wedding celebrant?
I love people and I feel that I convey this to most of my clients. I like to think that one of the things I do best is make my couple trust that I will make their ceremony stress free. I am super organised and convey that right from the first meeting.
I just love the happiness that surrounds everyone at a ceremony. Whether that ceremony is a Wedding, A Naming, Renewal of Vows or a Commitment Ceremony.
5) Why do couples choose you over other celebrants? What do you think makes you stand out? In other words, what do couples get with you that they might not get with others?
I think couples choose me because I am friendly but I am genuine and this must come through as I rarely don’t book a couple when we meet.
6) Can you describe a normal wedding day in your life as a wedding celebrant?
A wedding day starts with me focussing on my bride and groom as I very rarely would book two ceremonies on one day. I would have everything all rehearsed and prepared but I check on any final touches until the time to leave for the ceremony time.
7) Can you share your top tips to find the ideal wedding celebrant? What do couples need to look for?
A celebrant who truly cares about the couple and how their day will be unique for them. A person who is organised and can be trusted so the couple can just turn up and ‘know’ everything will be as promised.

I have had the privilege to perform ceremonies in some private gardens and these have been gorgeous but one venue that I truly love coming back to is the Tatra Hut Cupola in the Dandenong Ranges.

If you want a celebrant that makes you feel like a family member then that is me. I usually have a tear in my eye watching a bride walking in to meet her groom. After the time we spend getting to know each other I often feel like the bride and groom are family members.
Yes I am organised and I am thorough but I like to think I am fun and easy to get along with.
